Naw, they're making what has always been a free service a subscription thing now, which is extra daft because it's not media they're providing. It's files on my PC streaming to my PS5.

Have you gave Jellyfin a go? It's pretty good but I haven't tried it for streaming to devices outside of my house

Naw, only heard of it the other day. But it turns out plex still works for what I need which is just local network stuff. I rarely remote stream away from home.
