Years ago I was part of a new product team in a big corporation. The project spent around $20 million to test the concept. It was a financial disaster. When it was suggested to the person in charge to shut down the project, they responded "I've got a family to support."

It makes no sense - but of cause there will probably be a segment of car owners that will prefer to drive on liquids even though they need to pay more per km - if not the government subsidies the worried drivers (it has been seen before that politicians do what they can to get votes 😞)
