Sitting down may not be the safest choice. Typically police aim rubber bullets, tear gas and flash bangs down. (At least they are supposed to) If you are sitting in a protest that is going sideways you will be hurt

It's absolutely true. I remember. Tear gas is worse when one is older. Bones break easier when we are thumped hard. Still fighting. Look around at the many "old farts" on the streets. Carry on. Non-violence was met with government violence. Students were shot and killed. We prevailed anyway.
