Has anyone else noticed a lot of accounts marked "Invalid Handle" following you? Not sure if it's a bug with the Bluesky mobile app, the underlying system, or something else - but there are a lot of them! They have been upgrading their infrastructure apparently. It will sort itself out. That’s was from the bluesky feed

Apparently there are a few problems with this due to the massive influx of Twitter refugees.
There are some posts on @bsky.app covering what to do if your handle shows this, looks like a good place to get updates on issues / features.

I actually watched an account I expect you and I follow go from “Invalid Handle” to the correct name so it’s a bug in my view

It is a bug. It can be fixed by going to settings and then handle and typing in your (current) handle and then save. I think it’s probably sheer volume straining the systems

I dunno. My handle came up as invalid when I logged in this evening, but it appears to be OK now. Maybe the servers are crashing due to all the new active accounts.

I've had people I've followed for a while (and vice versa) become 'invalid' briefly. Think it must be just a glitch due to sudden massive upturn in users.

Apparently, the developers know. They advise if it is your account then leave it for a while and it will rectify itself. It is probably due to the sheer volume of new joiners. Luckily I moved over several months ago, even if dormant. I am now here more than Twitter

Yes, I've seen a few posts about it. Either ignore it and it'll sort itself out given time, or go to your settings and change your profile name to what it is then save.
