I’m 100% anti-commercialism on Christmas or any holiday. It should be all about being with family, but it isn’t… at least not in the U.S. A bit better in Portugal…
Team grinch. I’ve given up on 99% of my pro Jesus folks. They would consider him too woke to fit their prosperity gospel. When did we bastardize Christianity?? Was that the 90’s??
Christmas and politics don’t belong in the same sentence. Neither does Hanukkah and politics yet it happens every year. I’m a lapsed Jew married to a lapsed catholic and every Hanukkah we light the menorah. We’ve never had a tree. We spoke about getting one this year. Maybe next year.
Born and raised Roman Catholic, strong Santa believer for years. As I grew older I drifted away a bit from it but I still celebrate each year with friends and family. I'd say these days I am right near the middle of the spectrum but love the togetherness and goodness of the season.
Religion left the convo before the age of reason. Christmas left the convo before my teens. My Mother was a survivor of rhumatic fever and not in good health. She went in the hospital before Thanksgiving for 3 months and didn’t make it home.

I am an atheist so don't celebrate religious holidays. However, I don't care what others do as long as they don't impose their beliefs on me. I do find it weird that religious communities preempted pagan holidays and customs as a way to get people to buy into this alleged event.

This year, Grinch 100%. I just can’t convince myself to get merry. I’m not taking it out on others, stealing theirs. Just not feeling joyful. Good thing I just have my hubby. All family live long distances away.
Not religious, but as my wife was brought up by the religious we do Xmas, I think it's capitalistic bull shit, but I will buy my wife a few gifts, I dont wan't her thinking I dont care, I class them as "I appreciate you and love you" gifts more than Xmas gifts.
Right about here. We’ll buy our grandkids and sons gifts, but not much else. My wife and I agree that we’ll not buy anything for each other as we get what we want throughout the year.

Prob shouldn’t ask Santa about abortion or Scrooge about trans ppl in bathrooms, ppl would think you were crazy!
I'm not on this graph. I'm an atheist but also anti-capitalism, but not anti-Christmas in the sense of decorations, pretty lights, shared meals, & family time.
Not on that spectrum. Atheist who uses it as an opportunity to let kids be kids and share good feelings that aren’t faith based. Trying to be nice, not out of fear of punishment but because it feels wonderful.
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

I look at my family members that could make it, the snow, warm house, a little food and gift exchange , and I’m thankful for the moment of peace over my home at that moment in time……… except for that time my foster had that aggressive autistic meltdown and I had to boot everyone out of the house 😂😂
It absolutely sucks when your social security check hardly can pay your bills. And looking at a 6 hour back surgery with 6 months minimum recovery time. All I can ask for is wish me luck.
I like the message of Christmas, I hate how the general public abuse it. I get customers saying “You should give me a discount because it’s Christmas”, “Blah, blah,blah Christmas Spirit” etc. I tend to ask why being kind and generous only works at Christmas, shouldn’t it be like that all year?

In theory I hold out hope for the Christmas season to be kind, but I’m also incredibly cynical, so Grinch it is.
