This just makes so much more sense, and is not a fringe viewpoint even in most of the US. The existing condition shows how out of touch the ancient people running PPM really are.
It *will* be like this all the time. The pilot will be inevitably a success, and it's on us to make sure we don't let off the hook anyone pushing back on permanent pedestrianization.
