It's infuriating that Schiff recently gave a speech (even with slides!) on the floor about Trump's corruption. It’s going to look pretty cynical and shallow if he allows a vote that further enables Trump's corruption. Classic Dem tactic - performative resistance (oppose to Rep. performative outrage)

I have no doubt the senate republicans are being bribed as well, and when they do disagree Trump contacts them personally and I am sure he is either offering bribes or threatening to destroy their lives. But make no mistake, the republicans are using this time to push their own agenda through.
