The apathy over voting made us lose the last election. Maybe after those same folks start paying the high price of trump's tariffs, they may care or wake up. I am skeptical.
Voters care about issues that arise organically in their day-to-day lives, like CRT, the existence of trans people, wokeness, Hunter Biden’s laptop and Hillary’s emails
Hillary probably lost the election because of obscure email classification protocol LMAO and Democrats claim that politicians can't make people care about things
Voters should care. Trump is taking in billions a day and he’s asking us to be patient and accept a recession with inflation, that he claims is good for us!
National Dems routinely, almost *exclusively*, act like corporate middle managers instead of social/political LEADERS.
And so when a Republican, or fascist in this case, is in the presidential C-suite, they act like their job is to manage their "subordinates" (the voters)
If you've ever worked in a corporate job, it's immediately apparent that democrat leaders talk to progressives and the democratic base exactly the same way that middle managers talk to workers. It's all about getting them to stop complaining without actually changing anything.
Yes. With their main goal being to ensure that they have as little work to do as possible, can be "blamed" or "responsible" for as little as possible, and that they don't get reprimanded personally by the CEO.
It think you are correct, so many voters don't care, I hope living under dump has changed their minds. For those that voted for dump, or didn't vote at all, I hope you see that your vote does matter.
"It's weird how things no one cared about a few years ago suddenly became something that Republican voters cared about when Republicans harped on them at every possible turn. Worked out great for them.
Have you noticed? Presidential campaigns begin as early as two years prior to the election, and yet probably 70% of voters have no idea of what is at stake. They're pounded with ads that they tune out immediately, and with media coverage that is pretty much a beauty contest for seniors.
I remember reading somewhere a description of the difference between the two parties being that the Democrats research public opinion and try to appeal to it while the Republicans try to shape public opinion.

Voters (& non-voters) care and they *are* pushing back!
And so when a Republican, or fascist in this case, is in the presidential C-suite, they act like their job is to manage their "subordinates" (the voters)
Or, at least, that's @slotkin.senate.gov's take.
Also the reason thay virtually all modern democracies are proportional representation with coalition governments.
Our president is a corrupt politician. A lazy fat cat who profits off his office in alarmingly corrupted ways.
June 14th is the day we voice our alarm in unity.
And overshadow his weakling “strongman” parade.
And then six months later the remaining republican acquaintances I have starts screaming about critical race theory
Anyhow, no lessons to be learned from that!"

@democrats.org need to learn how to message better.
It is important that elected officials should KNOW what matters enough that it SHOULD BE made an issue of ...
It is also important elected officials know how to ensure voters, as a bloc, understand why that issue is relevant.
