The veneer of AI and robot technology is just a stand-in. Transplant this into the human world and you get a very clear understanding of what they want.
People want to pretend these are separate issues, but it's actually completely revelatory.

We have to tear this veneer down.
But that 'masters of the world' aspect, that's entirely cultural, as in our culture we are taught and conditioned in every aspect of life: that the world belongs to mankind- ( something not shared among many other cultures)
