Years ago I directed an episode of Law & Order: CI where the villain was a Thomas Kinkade style painter who turns out to be a murderer. I am looking forward to seeing this.

We bought a bunch of Kinkade-esque paintings and our scenics modified them. Created a Kinkade style gallery in an empty storefront in the Staten Island Mall, which I found amusing at the time.

Good Coogan is brilliant. His self-satire in The Trip series is cutting, vulnerable, real. But Coogan once again taking another lame role feels like a bit, a form of cultivated self-loathing, an Andy Kaufman-level long con on himself.
