The average price of a first-run movie ticket in the US right now is $16.08. If the minimum wage had kept pace with inflation, 40 minutes of labor would buy you a movie ticket. Better than how things are now: $7.25/hour means 2+ hours of labor gets you a movie ticket

A reminder that if the minimum wage had kept pace with worker productivity gains since the 1960s, it would now be nearly $26 an hour.

Ticket was €13.50 each, so about the same as US, minimum wage is €12.80/h
Its strongly debated as too low, social democrats want it to be 14.00 others 15.00...
That's the cheapest in the country.
