Idk, I like the idea that we should abolish every job that can be automated well AS LONG AS society then pays people enough money to live comfortably and let them pursue civil and creative human things.

I don't think that's the intention here, but that would be a better goal than "more work," IMHO.

But we’re already behind. In the US the minimum wage does not satisfy the reqs to live above poverty. You have to work multiple jobs or risk taking out loans to get an education to give you a well paying job which eventually might become automated as you say. Companies r slow 2 move in that area. :(

We're SO behind that the goal has become "survive in order to work," instead of what it should ethically be: lead a life that's worth living, which can include working on pro-social endeavors by choice and for fun and beauty and the joy of creation.
