Following our recent chat about this on here, I’ve bought a copy and have just got up to where she’s got her tattoo and, bloody hell, this one is really living up to the hype. I would love to pick apart why this book works so well when so many others like it (children’s fantasy) don’t.

I really really want to do an in person discussion group about kids books. Not a book club where you ahve to read x book but a bunch of ppl who've already read x book getting together to discuss, much less pressure that way!

I've been wanting it for ages! I like @alomshaha.bsky.social 's suggestion of making it about contemp fantasy, then ppl can raise any book they've read too! I find book clubs stressful cos I already have so much to read but if it's discuss what you've READ much less stress!
