Val Kilmer could have just been one of the best comedic actors if he had chosen. I loved that movie. I was not quite 13 when this was released. It was perfect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmfglOvNhMk
I'm not the first guy who fell in love with a woman that he met at a restaurant who turned out to be the daughter of a kidnapped scientist only to lose her to her childhood lover who she last saw on a deserted island who then turned out fifteen years later to be the leader of the French underground
One of the many things I love about this movie: It's the 40's cuz, there are Nazis. Wait, it's post WWII so it's the 50's? But he sings surfer music, so it's the 60's. Oh but there is a french resistance? So, 40's? But he's analogous to Elvis- 50's?????
