I fell asleep on the bus coming home; when I opened my eyes there was a small blot on the window, slowly changing shape, moving, changing, moving. It was just a small beetle outside, but in my half-awake state, I flashed back to Gahan Wilson's "Spot" in Again Dangerous Visions. It was v. creepy.

Of course the LA Times makes it look like a full on riot instead of showing that the mostly peaceful protesters were literally and constantly assaulted by ICE agents. The majority of fires that were started weren’t by the public but by ICE firing into the crowds and canisters starting fires. 🧵
