The driver of this car doesn't know that bicycles are allowed on the parkway. They honked at us incessantly disturbing not only us, but probably everyone at cedar lake 😡

Too many motorists don't know the laws and simply act like the streets belong to them. Polluters are disgustingly selfish in many ways. Respect sustainable commuters.
It says cycling is dangerous and then to prove it says that 630 people were killed in bike-motor vehicle crashes. I can't seem to find how many people are killed in bike crashes without cars. If its more I will have to admit bikes are dangerous but it just seems like the cars are killing people.
I get this daily on my commute along Minnehaha and Nokomis Pkwy. The frustrating thing for me is that I'm generally at or above the posted 20 mph speed limit, well above the 10 mph trail limit.
I spoke with them and asked what their emergency was to see if I should call 911. They told me that our group of cyclists should be on the bike path and not in the parkway. It was actually illegal for us to be in the bike path because the speed limit on the bike path is 10 mph.
