Boise ranked so high and with a bye doesn't seem right. Ideally ND should get the bye but without playing in conf championship game I see why they are penalized. Conf championship games are needless now, conf should just name a champ based on records and then move to playoff seeding. Imo

It's only a matter of days after the final game that the field expands to 16 so that teams that back into the field don't squeeze out teams playing a full schedule.
