This is sales not valuations. If we were talking valuations, there are probably 7 NFL teams that are valued more than 6.5 billion. Pretty sure the rest of the NFC east has higher valuation as it currently stands.
That list is for actual sales of franchises. Jerry hasn't sold the team, and nobody will pry it out of his wrinkled fingers before they close his coffin.
Someone told me too that sometimes whether or not the team owns their arena/stadium plays a big role due to the venue being an asset instead of a liability.
Whatβs really interesting is what ownerβs paid for the teams compared against the sale (adjusted of course). Iβd like to see those metrics, would be really cool.

The Rockets were last sold in 2017, the Dodgers were last sold in 2012.
In recent years, NBA teams have generally been much more profitable and have a higher valuation than MLB teams.
