Westbrook had the same type of numbers leading nowhere as well. Even if he's capable of those numbers, it doesn't help a team win. The other guys need regular touches and involvement in the offense. Being an extra offensively will usually lead to mediocre defense.

It's just like when Westbrook was a triple double machine. The other players get momentary touches and get zero offensive rhythm going. It simply does not work. It just accumulates as they become spectators on offense. That leads to less effective defense as they're not as invested in the game.
