ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. had been an outspoken advocate for Shedeur Sanders throughout the draft’s first two days.
He continued to voice his displeasure on Saturday, getting into a heated debate with his ESPN colleagues in the process.

- The Huddle Report
“Over the last five years, in his initial mock drafts, Kiper has successfully predicted 8 of 160 ( 5% ).”
- The Philly Voice, 2015
All of his list are terrible and don’t add any value.
And yet no NFL team has engaged Mel Kiper to help them figure things out.
Can't imagine why no NFL team wants to waste a high draft pick on a QB who has a "Mama Rose" for a father.
He goes hard for the people that pay him and I'm not talking about ESPN
With Shedeur it’s obvious that ESPN has been all-in pushing him alongside Deion since they went to CU. Kind of lol they kept it up after he’s done with college.
The NFLs record of evaluating QBs, as a group, has been pretty abysmal.
Get over it.
Inaccurate fool who masquerades as an NFL Draft Analyst goes on incoherent rant, claiming he's right all the time despite data showing he's never right.
Ever?
?
Walk the walk before you talk the talk.
In the selection notice by the Browns, the gentleman wearing orange short, and the entire room for that matter, didn't come across as celebrating this draft choice, at all.
Let's move on, please, many other candidates with great stories.
And while NFL GM's/coaches have gotten it wrong on many QBs, they have also gotten it right on many others.
Still waiting for you to eff off hairdo.
Gabriel should’ve been a story, Ewers and Dart.
Picking QBs is hard and the best are not reliable.
MK is insufferable though.

Ask the Seahawks how he was!
But I must admit that I am enjoying those WHITE TEARS 😭😆
Fuck every white pussy who has something to say about anybody from my community. We don’t owe you shit for an explanation.

I sure wouldn't invite his continued scrutiny & probable harassment by drafting him.
I agree with him, but we'll see if they get this one right.
Hell, a lot of NFL people thought that Johnny Manziel was going to be special
In the right fit -- and fit has so much to do with pro athletes' success or failure -- Sanders might be a good NFL QB. We'll see.
Kiper seemed to be angry that no teams agreed with him.
Kiper kinda embarrassed himself.
What an A-hole move
At least he apologized.
I like Sanders along with many other QB's in this draft, not sure if he will be good either.
I just find his slide to be a little inexplicable
Lastly, the league has also not been exempt from embarrassment
Long history of it
It seems like a lot of teams that really need QBs would rather sit on their hands, tank and wait for next year, which should be much more bountiful when it comes to QBs ... who might or might not be good.
That's kind of the fun of the draft, right?
Tanking on the other hand, for many fans is not
But that’s kinda the way of the world in regard to pro sports
However, you are not going to bat 1000, especially when it comes to trying to figure out who is going to be good and who is not in pro sports
That said, he has hit on some really big ones and does have a pretty good eye for talent which is why he has been able to make a living off this
/s
You probably voted for that ORANGE PRIVILEGE ARROGANT RAPIST PEDO for PRESIDENT STFU
They talk a good game but that's it.
“If the Lions pass on Brady Quinn, it would be yet another in a long line of questionable decisions.” Lmao lions were right.
SHEDEUR is better than most of those QBS and will ALWAYS be MORE than his HATERS will EVER BE 🤷🏽♀️
Funny shit.
Not being very good coupled with being entitled leads to being drafted on day 3.
The fall of Shedeur will get lost in the excitement of how Adam Peters found high RAS score (Raw Athletic Score) athletes at the end of Rounds 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7). DDay and Lynell Willingham noted that Cleveland picked a lesser talent b4 picking Shedeur. Message sent.
He only completed 74% of his passes, threw for 37 TDs, ran for 4 more and only 10 ints last year alone. He’s an asshole, I get it, it’s easy to hate him.
I never said he was tom Brady after his first 5 Super Bowl wins but you’re just being a hater and it’s silly
