Both points listed can be solved. I worked in a very bottom up, high culture, low “glue” company that went 200 to 1,500 people efficiently. Best so far.

I realize you are sick and tired for people that say remote has no downsides. And I’m sure I can be read that way.
I’ve also over a decade of experience, and I know where the issues are for most orgs and how to fix them…
Agree they are mostly solvable issues. But the intersection of skills to solve them is quite uncommon. 💜🌈✨
