I believe they did this on a number of the New Universe final issues. I think it was a bit of a shot at editorial, though subtle, as they allowed it on the cover. DP7 was arguably the best New Universe title. Paul Ryan and Danny Bulanadi had a lot to do with that.

It’s a good run. Has that definite 80’s melodramatic feel that was carried over into comics like the original Guardians of the Galaxy.

Weird, Issue 31 of Quasar isn't available on Marvel Unlimited but all the other issues are .
