THESE courts, Andrew, not THE courts. We have a wide variety of rulings up and down the judiciary and most of the illegalities have not yet been ruled on, and scotus just let him fire all trans members of the military while the order is challenged.

I'm not optimistic. I haven't seen anything to change my mind. In fact, the Jan 6th pardons and a long list of recent events tells me otherwise. I do have hope but, I've been let down by my government consistently since the day they decided that corporations are people.

I'm glad you found something to give you hope. Imo, we're past any kind of legal remedy. They aren't listening to the supreme court, why would they listen to anybody else? This is a takeover by the rich. We will have to pry the freedom and money from their cold, dead hands.

Andrew, regarding your aside on terminology and not wanting to use the term “deported”, I think kidnapping and false imprisonment fit the definition. It is specifically “deprivation of civil rights under color of law” if we go by the elements of the crime.
