You do have to feel a bit sorry for Steve Baker. He put in the hard yards on Brexit and yet Dan Hannan, Matthew Elliott, Michael Gove, Gisela Stuart, Kate Hoey, Chris Grayling and others got the peerages. A load of others got knighthoods.
