Sorry, I'm pretty critical of some of the decisions of 2010-15 myself but this kind of hyperbole cauterizes intelligent attempts to critique public policy. The government that brought in the pupil premium and included the likes of Nick Gibb and David Laws is NOT the same as Trump. It's silly

Trump's attacks on the Department of Education should remind us never to elect to high office anyone without a stake in society. We suffered the same in the UK from 2010, when people who used private healthcare and private schools ripped up public services.

You may have a point, but being too dismissive of this can feel like gaslighting to those of us who experienced the sharp end.
Taken together, these things have permanently damaged our country.
I also lost my career due to Brexit. I think now we are all under shared international threats that it will be undone fairly soon, but what pointless damage done along the way!
It’s ludicrous inequality that has divorced off the very people who then also have the most (undeserved) power to act on it
So it's a totally fair comparison.
