I think Scotland should be independent, but I also think its current government has failed the workers in Grangemouth.

What ScotGov can do is *extremely* limited, irrespective of its flavour, and their budget is controlled - and cut - by Westminster. Devolution is not enough. I sometimes wonder how WM would manage if most of its key government powers were reserved to the capital of another country 500 miles away.

Belgium is in Schengen and has decided it can accept an basically open border with its neighbours. Great, but it also doesn't work very well.

Greenhouse gas emissions move as much as reduce. Cannabis sale is banned but people can day trip to the Netherlands. These problems aren't linked to wealth.

I think Grangemouth should close; I don't want it "saved". But I also want the people who worked there to have a future way better than the dole.

I'd want this if Scotland were independent too.

As for drugs… legalise it. But beware the impact on Glasgow and Edinburgh if England leaves it banned.
