At it's root I think antivaxx (and anti-mask) is motivated by a rejection of the idea that we have a duty to care for and avoid injuring our neighbors. A duty rooted in reciprocity, so it's doubly dumb.

We need to bring back the Health Dept Nurse Corp.
As a kid,they employed former Army nurses(WWII) to bring vaccines to rural areas.Those women tolerated NO nonsense & would cut someone down to size with both facts & deeds. A 98% vaccination rate speaks for itself
