“Womanizing, fall-down, blackout drunk TV news host gets nominated by a goofball president to run the Defense Department" sounds like a great pitch for a 1980s Rodney Dangerfield movie. Just not sure which character he'd play.

"Hunh! I told my Secretary of Defense says he drinks too much in Cabinet meetings. He told me, hey, YOU'RE the one who decided to meet at a LIQUOR cabinet, Boss! No respect!"
And yet David Frum a sometimes guest on MSNBC gets crucified for his "too drunk for Fox" comment. Joe and Mika need to go. You can only play both sides against the middle for so long. They are losing.
I really dislike descriptions of these cretins as “goofballs” or “toddlers”. These are disturbed, fanatical men and women. They are profoundly dangerous and now have the power to inflict great harm and pain.
Contrariwise, make John the scheming President trying to appoint people worse than him, while Rodney is the good-hearted yet bumbling fool who screws it all up by accident.

Older Rodney is the president. And Norm Macdonald is the host.
God, I'd love to see that film!
[pulls at collar]
Is the first line of a verse I would like to read.
Should not be in the government
But on a lake's bottom in a trunk
With no one caring where he went.
We live in a time, especially this moment, where this needs to be pointed out. I guess.
I do not advocate actual violence against real people. I do however support being able to say whatever the fuck I want.
Also he's NOT the president. Biden is President!
Don't you mean malevolent or sociopathic or traitorous president-elect?
