It'd be nice if the savvy poll-watching Dems and their consultants would start their strategy analysis by filtering out people who will never vote for them anyway.
In 2024, 94% of Republicans voted for Trump. Don't water-down support from your actual potential voters by catering to the GOP base.

Twitter people are talking about the CNN poll showing that people "approve" of Trump's handling of gender identity.
Turns out though when you look at the crosstabs, Democrats and Independents do not approve of Trump's handling of trans issues.
But Republicans absolutely love it.

Dems need to go after the people who did not vote, those that voted for third parties, and weak Trump voters.
Haven't seen much hard info on what motivates them.
"You should vote for us and give us money! Sure we're too scared of centrists to actually change anything, and we alienate colleagues who take real actions towards change, but at least we're not the other guys!"
Admittedly easy to visualize, but hard to achieve.
It would probably be easier to resolve if appealing rightward weren’t also necessary to appease corporate donors.
