Gavin Newsom is that guy that everyone sees once a year at a company party who looks cool but you talk to any of his coworkers and he's a nightmare.
Newsom has consistently been making decisions that hurt Californians, bizarrely bad decisions. This isn't new. He's just advertising it now.

The idea that Democrats are even remotely "leftist" is far right propaganda. On any reality-based scale, even Bernie Sanders is center-left at *best*, whereas people like Biden and the Clintons are conservatives.
