It’s actually a moving tale of an old fisherman living where a river flows into the sea, and witnesses the industrialisation of his industry as he becomes irrelevant in a modern world.
Can we commission an artist to use one of the terrible books to make a book safe or a cut-out diorama that shows the joyful use of books that are the ick? “These books suck but would make a great stash spot or papier mache!” Like a yarn store puts scarves on the wall.
I cannot confirm or deny the rumours that I bought that book, and read it, before putting it on a shelf for a few years before finally throwing it into the recycling bin. There will be no further comment at this time.
