According to the president at various times this year, Americans are too dumb to do the smart people jobs, too expensive for the hard jobs and now we take too many days off on the rest of the jobs. The president thinks we’re unemployable as a people.

Dear generic dishwasher rinse aid company: The dishwasher rinse agent dispensers I have known indicated their fill level with a little window that let you see the blue liquid inside. If, as you have done, you remove the color, you don’t know it’s empty until the glasses are gross and that sucks.

I genuinely believe the best thing for anyone at the stupid parade to do is stand silently with backs turned. Maybe get a shame bell or two involved. No passion, no flags, just sad looks, backs of heads, and people chanting shame in a disappointed tone. Also, once it’s done, the Yakity Sax edits.

Actual fun fact: Americans are expected to file tax forms in the US even when they don’t live or work in the US. You get credit for the tax you paid elsewhere but if it’s not enough, you may have to write a check for all that freedom you’re using. It’s a subscription.
