This is outrageous. Judge Boasberg’s order went against government agencies which were in the US, and which were in direct contact with the plane. He must hold them in contempt of court.

At some point -- perhaps if a clear Supreme Court ruling is ignored -- maybe then certain Constitutional oaths will become a point of discussion. Unfortunately, I doubt this is the issue that will do that.

The judge should announce sanctions on the whole chain of command, all the way down to the flight crew. If the Marshalls, etc. won't enforce it the judge should find the organizations criminal and invite all citizens to enforce the order.

That is absolutely true. But they run into a problem. You can replace every flag officer in the entire DOD, the national guard and regular troops asked to shoot Americans will still be 20 year old kids from Detroit or Baltimore. I struggle to believe many of them will comply.

Oh, I could not agree more. The fate of the nation may turn on a 19 year olds willingness to plug a protester. I know a lot of vets, and of them, I can say zero would shoot. It's an evil man who would, by order, force someone to make that decision for their political advantage.

Yeah, that's a standard use. But what works in a smaller, more centralized state such as Isreal simply will not work in the US. What happens when the governor of Maine tells her national guard to stand down or resist for that matter? It gets very messy, fast.
