It's one of my biggest gripes with the 2410s era; it's an era that has become defined by endless "refits" of legacy designs instead of letting those legacy designs stand on their own merits and acknowledge that not all STO players want to RP that specific era.

I've loved the Akula/Apollo Refit since SFC.
Seeing it in STO has been a longing since Agents of Yesterday.
And Star Trek Continuum for Homeworld Renastered was as close as I have gotten.
Doubly so when Stellar Paralax axed the Ages of the Federation 2 mod for Sins Rebellion.

I just find that when I use them in STO's missions, I end up feeling out of place when my old TMP style ship sits in a cutscene between the Enterprise-F and mirror Enterprise-F.

1) A beautiful TMP design;
2) People that don't have my misgivings will surely be happy with it too.
