If England chose to take over Ireland, and retains control over Northern Ireland, then the people living in those territories should have the same access to government funding than anyone else living there. Hope that helps!
I'd never heard of Kneecap until Bad Enoch tried to pull this nonsense. Now, I love the music, the film, and am in the very early stages of learning Irish.
All thanks to her bigoted, moronic stunt. The only time she has done any good. And it's the only time she ever will.
Ah leave her off. She has loads of time to make other stupid decisions that will damage her party. Have faith in the woman! I'm looking forward to 5 glorious years of moronic behaviour.
You could be right. I bet they bin her before 5 years, mind. She might struggle to appeal to a racist constituency and see off an openly racist insurgent party.
That’s right. I feel as if a triumphant return for Liz Truss would give us both an outcome we’d welcome. And, as she needs to be in an institution, the House of Commons at least ensures she’s near no real power.
I think that's because they are different branches of the same language tree? I'm interested - are they no similarities, like word order? or any others?
Scot’s Gaelic and and Irish are like two branches of the same tree where as wales is a Brythonic and has roots tying to Brittany in France and small areas in Spain although all three are Celtic languages wales is Gaelic’s distant cousin with its brothers being Cornish and Breton
We showed the film Kneecap at the @evanstheatre.ca. What a ride, and then to discover that a) it's a true story and b) the band played themselves in the movie... wow.

I’m starting to learn Irish to. I thought being a Welsh speaker would be advantageous. It isn’t 😀
