A gigantic moth clutches a twig, it's earthy colors of buff, tan, dusky white, and golden brown allow it to blend in with the native tree bark. The Owl Moths are making an early showing this year, confused by the ravages of climate change. Owl moths are sometimes mistaken for actual birds.
I appreciate your admiration of moths, and some are, indeed, βbeautiful,β but theyβve invaded my pantry (for the 86 Billionth time) so my patience has worn a bit thin with those dusty creatures!
After falling in love with Arthur's Archimedes in The Sword in the Stone many years ago, you learn that owls = wisdom. Hence the fine bird of prey becomes an excellent spirit guide. Now where did I put those fewmets?
Hoot morning, absolutely love this photo of one of my favorite species of bird. I like all kinds of owls, big and small. I Often hear the call of the little owl and to me it sounds as if it's
a bit sad. Bigger Owls, on opposite sides of a valley, calling to each other
kept me awake in sctl & spain.

Nice photo!π
Seriously, worthy of National Geographic Magazine!
Beautiful
Not to be rude, but this photo is almost moth-like. Beautiful, a dusty quality to the wings/feathers, etc. Very lovely photo! : )
