Voyager 1 is the furthest human-made object from Earth having gone a whopping 25 billion km in 47 years. But astronomically speaking, that’s nothing! It would take Voyager 75,000 years to go ~4 light years, which is the distance to the nearest star. The nearest!!! Space is HUGE 🧪🔭

When you do your mind comprehends the vast distances as it comprehends the vast time light requires to reach your eyeball.

Wow! I love this information! This reminds me when I use to lay on the grass and look at the sky and the word infinity blew my mind! Now I exchange laying in grass to sitting in the car waiting for my husband to bring my walker looking at the night sky and it still boggles my brain!
