Can't remember which podcast I heard it on, but somebody was pointing out that they heavily used stock Unreal assets for rocks and such. They did it for the exact reason you should: so that their team could focus their efforts on the things that players actually pay attention to.
I see. Well, I don't know how far you're into the game (if you're playing it) but the pics here are from the first hour. E33 in general is far more colourful than Forspoken, (which is mainly grey and brown,) hence why I was surprised by the comparison.
I kinda like that there’s no explanation for any of it—at least at this point. It’s just a cool as shit fantasy world and I buy it all immediately because it’s not trying to justify itself.
It's truly staggering. The end of Act Two was a staccato flurry of gut-punches, awe-inspiring visuals, and tantalizing reveals. I don't want it to end (thankfully, there is a lot left to explore).
I was not ready for the way that all of these locations are from like the first 2-3 hours. And it just keeps going afterwards! Dazzling me every time I go to a new location!
