Puritanical mores keep folks from actually supporting poverty elimination by direct funding. Yet, in the U.S. we waste billions with scattershot programs. Finland eliminated homelessness by giving people homes! Cities have done direct payments to enable overcoming barriers.

She should be interviewing @governorwalz.mn.gov . Unlike Pritzker, Walz is 1) not a billionaire 2) a much more effective governor 3) visiting red districts and talking to persuadable voters 4) much better than Pritzker at off the cuff communication.

I’d like to add that the link between oral hygiene and overall health is ignored in this country, as is accessible/affordable oral hygiene in general.

Keeping people healthy instead of ignoring science is a platform everyone should support.
