If you're ordering it from a company from out of the country, the company would be charged, so odds are they'll add the amount they would be charged through customs to the base price you pay

If you're importing something in and that fee isn't paid, they'll likely hold it until IS is paid by someone

There used to be a minimum value of $800, below which they figured it wasn't worth the paperwork hassle. My understanding is that it is no longer the case for China, but we don't have the infrastructure in place to manage that workload, so it may just sit in a warehouse.🤷‍♂️

Toy Dojo did a Facebook post saying more or less the same thing. Every industry that relies on overseas stock will be doing the same thing. And the most common response from tariff supporters will be 'make it all in the USA'.

His plan being, if one exists, that he will be able to bully them down. But that's not happening. International agreements are built on compromise. Trump dosnt compromise. A deal is not good unless he can brag about how he screwed over the other party once it is signed.
