Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I slept in really late today after I stayed way too late doing financial things. Got a grocery pickup and a couple more books with some credits. Tomorrow I go see "Some Like it Hot" musical and then I have a pickleball game with a couple of friends. - ThreadSky

Your weekend sounds like a lot of fun. I have a long weekend! So, today I went to stretching class and cleaned around the house since it’s raining nonstop. Took a nap. Tomorrow I might do something fun with the friends.

I have been told that having a schedule of “fun things to do” over the weekend, it’s not actually resting and that doing nothing, not even meeting people it’s okay if it helps rest. This take has made me see things differently, maybe it can help you out too?

I do think that is valid.

I try to do at least one fun thing with people each weekend and then just rest and renew. I have a lot of people interaction during the week between work and exercise class. I am an introvert at heart!

I swear the weekend feels like one very short day and the weeks are so long! Trying to plan a vacation for the Fall but needing to wait until I get more medical reports back is a real vibe killer. I don't get much PTO this year since I started in April so have to save it for possible medical stuff.
