Absolutely breathtaking. It’s wild how borders disappear from up there just lights, land, and the quiet beauty of Earth. France and Italy look like jewels in the dark. 🌍✨
That may be what is visible, but not what the ISS is *over*. I've checked the coordinates of the ISS at each frame used during this timelapse and the ISS is definitely only ever over France or Italy.
Do you think some people could misinterpret your description? It might be technically correct but I am not sure people describe things with contexts outside of what’s visible. Generally, saying a video of Italy, Croatia and Greece from the ISS would be clearer as to what’s in the video.

Such a shame that light pollution has so overwhelmed almost all of the night skies of Europe. There should be places for people to see a pristine night sky, it is a timeless universal source of inspiration that should not be taken from us.
"We all have a thirst for wonder. It's a deeply human quality. Science and religion are both bound up with it. What I'm saying is, you don't have to make stories up, you don't have to exaggerate. There's wonder and awe enough in the real world. Nature's a lot better at inventing wonders than we are"
