Bluesky has changed me
I posted something on linkedin and the author came into the comments instantly and started the gish galloping
Old days, I would have engaged.
Today? Block
It just breaks how certain people rely on exploiting norms to run over you with BS. It felt good and made me laugh

Blocking needs to be an universal lesson we learn, not just something on Bluesky.
Especially because of the much more robust blocking, but also no algorithm to boost manufactured outrage. I can’t remember the last time I saw someone subposting or quote posting w/ screenshots. That was like every third post on Twitter.
If they point out why argument A is stupid, then that implicitly means that your arguments B, C, D, and E *were* valid.

Blocking was pretty decent on Twitter but it's *so much better* here
Someone comes in your mentions with bullshit? Now you've removed it for *everybody* instead of just hiding it for you and I cannot express how much I love that
I can just block them and move on
Wonderful
