I agree, but I'd like to add that even those who cannot work should be able to live! When we're talking about living wages, we also need to address the way we treat disabled people and how they are absolutely screwed over in our country. The gov gives them a pittance and then calls them moochers.

If you have a business where you cannot afford to pay a living wage you need to rethink your business. Feel free to work yourself all hours at whatever rate you want for yourself. If you want/ need employees you need to build in living wages for them.
If you cannot, your business is a bad model.
