It's funny how you arsenal fans see football. When Liverpool or city do something good it's because of the opposition but when arsenal drop points it's not because of us. Hilarious
TBH, not being shit doesn’t make it any better. We are very predictable on the left, overload on the right, not a lot of teeth on the middle. The Jesus cameo is repeated history. Our fullback injury crisis is not much helpful. I’d really like to see Merino play a full 90 again & see Partey/Rice at 6
Whatever makes you feel better. This feels like some very hard points lost. I hate to think backwards, but those reds will live rent free for the rest of the season.
Games like this happen across the course of a season. Generated 2xG to 0.03. Did everything we could and so close to the winner.
We'll have games like this, so will Liverpool. The problem is, the PGMOL and our injury crisis (which is still kind of ongoing) gave them a big head start.
He would stil been able to do the pass if he had started the move from an onside position, the move and pass was brilliant, but when you are out on the wing facing the opponents backline like that you have to able to time the run much better. Especially when you are as fast as Martinelli is.
Unfortunately Liverpool will play the ball on the ground and comfortably dispatch fulham next weekend, that performance was pretty dross if we are honest
Special shout out to ref for wasting the entire added time and not putting any additional time back on for multiple subs, VAR review and the 3 minutes it took for Fulham to take a free kick.
If your first comment is to talk about the ref n not our performance. It's obfuscating the point. Ultimately weren't at the races n that's what cost us.
I think what feels heavy to me is the acceptance that this team peaked the past two seasons. And we have become so uninventive in open play and recurring injuries FC.
We’ve got a massive problem on our left side, you just can’t ignore it. Needs a January signing if we can get one or a proper alternative to Havertz. Poor summer transfer strategy, we all knew it.
Probably not a popular opinion but I don’t think we were that bad. However it feels like we are only allowed to win if it’s a close to perfect performance.
lacking quality in attack outside Ode and Saka. I never wanted G.Jesus. I'm often wrong but I was soo right on this one. he's been useless excluding his first few months
We got varianced today with Fulham’s only chance going in, but I think we have the same root issue the past two seasons: just not enough consistent goal threat in every game (Tim always mentions how many games we failed to score in last year) to make it more difficult to get varianced.
Nothing going our way this season. Lots of bad luck, injuries, etc.
But I don’t think we can go another summer without buying a 9. I really like Kai as an important player for us, but in games like this we need a bully up front, someone who can create a goal out of nothing.
Big job for the new sporting director as this squad needs a serious attacking injection, and midfield needs work too. Last window was, in hindsight, our worst for quite some time.

Martinelli is now in the same bracket as Jesus and Zinny. We need to move on from these to win big trophies.
