Helpful illustration of the US military aid to Ukraine already paid for and in the pipeline. If this continues despite Trump deciding "he is out", it's not terrible for Ukraine. Especially if they (and their European partners) are also allowed to purchase weapons at US manufacturers.

Helpful chart showing projected US aid to Ukraine which is already in the proverbial pipeline. "weapons and support from contracts signed in the past three years will continue flowing to Ukraine for years to come" www.csis.org/analysis/can...

Closing the skies with airpower would be a good first step.
Deploying ground troops there, all the moreso.
It would basically define to Russia "you're not going to achieve your goals, so you might as well stop".
But the use of air force is less risky, and involves only elite personnel, who live for these missions.
Russia is far more willing to let their people die. Trump has given many Russians hope peace is near, so they sign up to collect the bonus in the hope to survive
Russians only manage to push forward as on the end some survive and take the position.
Numbers are important in some regards, but they do not an entire army make.
Numbers matter, but so does equipment, logistics, production, economics, etc etc. You can't go "just numbers".
While he is a useful idiot for the Russians and prefers them over Europe, money and adulation are his driving forces.
His involvement keeps showing how stupid he is so I think he just wants to ignore it now.
I believe US law required a 1 year notice period before leaving the WHO, and he still just left overnight. So if he just declared an end to arms shipments overnight, who would block it?
Though a donation of 1000 of the 10,400 M1A1 tanks made would help.
Yet he seems to prefer Russian trade. This only makes sense if he is on their side.
Anyway, Ukraine will win. It just takes more time than necessary
