Non-Leafs fans are going to hate this so just ignore me, whatever, but I can’t even describe how frustrating it is that one clear way to win in hockey is to be dirty as hell and dare them to try to call it all, and that option simply isn’t open to the Leafs.

And they definitely benefitted from the refs to beat Ottawa. Stolarz mauls and slashes Grieg and Grieg got the penalty. There were many other questionable calls.
Leafs barely beat Ottawa (4 - 2 series win, with 2 OT wins).
2 yrs ago saw the FLA twice, Cousins hit Gudbranson from behind; major reduced to minor, CBJ bench coach ejected for yelling at the refs, FLA only received that minor, it was so bad.
2nd game, they called FLA for everything, the Wild scored 5 PPGs and won 6-5.
Domi smiles at Marchand and gets 2 minutes for a cross check. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Ekblad, Bennet, tachuk, are 3 of the biggest goons in the league and they get passes time after time!!
Bettman needs to go. He is the BIGGEST problem in the NHL.
I'm not talking about the swamprats, Tkachuk, Marchand, or Bennett ,I'm saying take the suspension on a player like Reinhardt, Barkov, or Verhague!
May as well get your money's worth!
#jersey #toss
go to the net there will be plenty of chance for physical play there.
You really think the league does not want the Leafs to win? It would be the best thing in the world for the league.
I would love to see a Leafs cup.
A Non Fan.
A Leafs win would be the best thing to happen for the league. It would create a huge buzz.
Look, we all know the league is fixed. So are the other sports. It's part of the game.
Stop watching if it bothers you.
The NHL perspective under Bettman has always been to *grow the game* in non traditional or new markets, and playoff success is key to that.

LOL I'm just busting your chops bud. Sorry.
Hey, believe me, I think that most professional sports are fixed. You are preaching to the choir.
CHI, PIT and LAK were all good for a long while because the NHL was worried about those franchises sustainability in major markets. Would look bad if they failed.
LAK had a new stadium.
PIT had gone through bankruptcy, had new ownership and a new stadium.
