You are all going to call me a homer but just explain to me why over the past ten years the Leafs are near the top of the league in suspensions, and near the bottom of the league in suspensions on opponents, despite being universally derided as highly skilled but soft little babies.

To add to this thread..what I honestly would like to see the the Leafs brass have a spine and call the league out on it. Deepest pockets in the league and they refuse to take fines. Hold a presser and call the league/officials out on it and take the 500k fine. Couldn't get worse for us regardless.

The Nylander one might be the worst, there’s literally no plausible explanation for it other than an intent to injure, and the only people talking about it are Leafs fans. And if the Leafs try to respond in kind? It’s the Kadri route. “Can’t keep their cool, not playoff-ready”. Man, fuck this league
