They are already taking it away in red States. They're taking Public school money and giving it to private Christian schools.

🧨PROBLEM intentional dumbing down of public education. Decades of underfunding. Divided into charter-magnet-private-religious-home schools. Higher ed unavailable to millions due to cost. Graduated can’t grasp cause & effect or probability. People unable to reason are easier to control–espec by fear.

Sadly, after Brown v Board of Ed, racists launched an attack on public schools. Some cities in the south closed schools entirely rather than integrate, but were unable to maintain that stance more than a few years. But the attitude of keeping 'undesirables' from a good education is still with us.
