I was prob more terse with the rep than I should have been but 1. this entire process was incredibly frustrating and 2. on a day in which I'm literally contacting the police about harassment, I have VERY little patience for people disregarding my clear lack of consent. At least here, I can opt out.

There comes a point, (usually early on in the convo) where it becomes abundantly clear that they are a "Company Service Rep" and not a "Customer Service Rep."
I let them know that while I'm aware they're just doing their job, their job is designed for them to be profitable not helpful
I'll also likely cancel my Google subscription soon. I don't want any part of it.
